Mailings, Coupons, & More, Inc. (MCM) was founded in 1985 by Pete Belessis, who brought his passion for direct mail from Columbus, Georgia, to Huntsville, Alabama. After running a direct mail franchise in Georgia and selling it to his best friend, Mike, Pete relocated to North Alabama to launch a similar program. As the local market grew, Pete recognized that an independent structure offered more flexibility than a franchise model—leading to the creation of Coupon Express. Powered by a dedicated team, MCM continues to expand its print and digital offerings while preparing to carry Pete’s founding vision forward as he moves toward retirement.

History Since 1985

  • Pre-1985 Franchise Origins: Pete Belessis established his direct mail expertise in Columbus, Georgia, before selling the franchise to his best friend, Mike, and bringing those proven processes to Huntsville.
  • 1985 Launch: MCM was officially established in North Alabama, delivering targeted print advertising to local households.
